Opis

Diagnosis. - The sp elements with a long inner lobe of the bifurcated anterior process, posterior process undivided . A strong asymmetry in the oz pair, with both elements having the anterior
process much elongated.
Remarks. - It is rather difficult to indicate any fundamental distinctions between Eoplacognathus and Polyplacognathus. They seem to differ only in the further development of the robustly ornamented platform in the youngest form, P. ramosus. Ramiform elements have not been identified in most of the species of the genus but sparce data strongly suggest a presence of small elements similar to those of Lenodus.
