Gatunek typowy Opis Subcylindrical, laterally compressed carapace with short rostrum; cephalic region with one medial, longitudinal ridge; cervical groove strong, steeply inclined; weak postcervical and stronger branchiocardiac grooves closely spaced, parallel, and inclined to dorsal margin at gentle angle, intersecting dorsal margin at a position very far posteriorly on cephalothorax; hepatic groove deeply incised; pleuron of 6th somite sharply triangular; exopod of uropod with diaeresis (modified and emended from Garassino et al. 2009).
