Opis

Type species: Scala elata Thiele, 1925. Recent, 1°40’ S, 41°47’ E, 693 m depth.
Shell with broad axial ribs (not lamellae); no intritacalx; protoconch conical, usually of 3–4 whorls, with distinct axial ribs and sometimes interstitial spiral lirae.
