| Diagnoza Shell large, transverse, dorsibiconvex, sub rectangular in outline with markedly rounded postero-lateral and antero-lateral extremities, in older specimens not seldom lobate; anterior commissure uniplicate in adults, rectimarginate in young specimens, linguiform; dorsal valve strongly convex, elliptic to parabolic in anterior view, the umbonal region not seldom extending more posteriorly than the ventral umbo, dorsal beak rather thick, markedly incurved. Porównanie Nearly all material from the Łysogóry Region belong to this morphotype, characterised by maximal shell width located anteriorly (at 2/3 - 7/8 of the length); a few poorly preserved shells show some features possibly transitional to the morphotype S. schnuri schnuri Struve, 1965. Autekologia Występowanie geograficzne Eifel region in Germany and Skały (Holy Cross Mts.) in Poland. Zasięg czasowy Mid Devonian, Mid to Late Eifelian. Materiały muzealne 88 articulated shells, 2 dorsal valves and 5 ventral ones from the outcrop SK-3 at Skaly (ZPAL Bp IV; L PZ-D.557, olim 770) and specimens from Eifel region (SMF).
