Diagnoza

Turbiniform shell, thick, smooth,shiny. Peristome circular with large, blunt tooth on inner lip. Umbilicus absent.

Porównanie

The species under consideration is most similar to Ataphrus typus (Gemmelaro, 1878), the type species of Plocostylus Gemmelaro, 1878 but it differs in having larger teeth on the inner lip.
