Diagnoza

Protoconch ornamented with two keels and adapical row of pustules. Teleoconch of convex whorls, with distinct axial ribs (12–13 per whorl). On first teleoconch whorl, three, distinct spiral ribs appearing. Adapical spiral rib with weak nodes at intersections with axial ribs. Number of ribs increasing during ontogeny.

Porównanie

More similar to C. kulickii each other than to any other member of the genus. Morphology of shell is similar to the Tertiary and Recent bithyniid-like gastropods, e.g. Cerithidium submamillatus (Rayneval & Ponzi, 1854).

Występowanie geograficzne

Type locality only.

Zasięg czasowy

Late Valanginian (Early Cretaceous); Dichotomites beds, which correspond to the upper part of Saynoceras verrucosum Zone.
