Diagnoza

Shell initially spherical, umbilicus very narrow, then thick disc-shaped, navel very narrow umbilicus); ornamentation with about 90 spiral stripes and much finer, almost straight growth lines.

Porównanie

Juveniles of the stratigraphically coeval Lusitanoceras poststriatum differ in having strong cup constrictions and an ornamentation consisting of strong growth strips. Spiral ornamentation and narrow siphuncle make the Lublin area specimen similar to the Rhenish ones.
