Opis

Conch usually involute and narrow, especially a later growth stages; coarse ornament with tubercles absent or weak, but strong ribbing often developed;  fine ornament with crenulation and spiral ornament weak, transverse ornament often quite widely spaced; hyponomic sinus and lingual projection both fairly weak, but umbilical projection sometimes developed; median saddle tall and wide at the expense of the lateral saddle; both lateral and ventral lobes tend to develop a prominent prong.
