Opis

Shell with later whorls highly involute, umbilicus very narrow; umbilical wall ornamented with spiral lirae; transverse striae simple or dichotomizing, forming ventral sinus; ventral lobe rather wide, with cuneiform branches; median saddle fairly high; adventitious lobe shorter than ventral lobe; distinguished from Isohomoceras and Homoceras by narrower shell and by the presence of an adumbilical ridge.
